Miss Universe 2010 Winner-Best in Swimsuit Award

For Miss Universe 2010 there was no official declaration to the special award for best in swimsuit. However base on the official scores among the the top five finalists Miss Jamaica got the highest score of 9.426. Miss Mexico placed in second with 9.265. With 8.957 Miss Philippines was third. Miss Ireland got the forth rank with 8.784. Miss Australia was fifth having a score of 8.543. Miss Ukraine who was among the top five finalists was seventh in the swimsuit ranking.

Jimena Navarrete of mexico is crowned Miss Universe 2010. The 22-year-old beautiful woman from mexico reigns as the winner among other finalists like Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell, Yendi Phillipps from Jamaica, Anna Poslavska of Ukraine and the online favorite Miss Philippines Venus Raj.

After the  preliminaries, various online polls on the public's favorites and predictions as to who will win bagged the tittle as Miss Universe 2010 the reality unveiled in Las Vegas that it was Ms. Mexico to be crowned as more beauty and glamor among other 82 contestants. Prior to crowning Jimena Navarrete was called third in the top 15. In announcing the top 10 based on the random selection of the judges Ms. Mexico was called 5th.

Jimena Navarrete as Miss Mexico was first called as the top finalists were announced. She was also the first to answer in the most toughest part of the contest that was question and answer. In front of the Las Vegas crowd, 82 other contestants and millions of people around the world  she confidently answered the question with the aid of an interpreter that certainly one factor that lead her to take over the throne of Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela. After crowning of the newly beauty queen the thing that she uttered was "No puedo pensar nada," that meaningly says her mind was a blank at the moment.

Miss Universe 2010 Miss Photogenic was awarded to Miss Thailand. Fonthip Watcharatrakul received the special award against other 82 beautiful contestants. Miss Thailand also won the National Costume special award.
